Q: Where do I find information about participating in the 2012 World Choir Games?
A: The official registration forms for the 2012 World Choir Games are now available.
Q: How do I know if my choir is qualified to participate in the Games?
A: All amateur choirs are invited to participate. There is an appropriate category of participation for every level of choral performance. Even if you chose not to compete, your choir can participate in evaluations with international jurors, concerts and workshops. Check out the Competition Information booklet.
Q: What are the fees for participation?
A: An early bird registration fee provides additional discounts for your choir and is available through June 1, 2011. It is the best pricing and guarantees your choir participation in the Games. The fee depends on your participation option. Accommodation fees for your choir are dependent on the level of accommodations you select for your stay. Q: How is the competition judged?
A: Five or seven qualified international jurors score on a point system. Every choir is scored within this system allowing for multiple winners of gold, silver and bronze diplomas and medals. Details are on INTERKULTUR'S website.
Q: We are not a choir of traditional sacred choral music performance. Is there a category for other genres of choral singing?
A: Yes. The World Choir Games offers participation in 23 categories of choral singing. Check out the Competition Information booklet.
Q: How many days will we need to be at the Games to participate?
A: The event package requires a minimum stay of four nights.
Q: Who from the international choral community is involved in the World Choir Games?
